Turner frames are renowned all over the world as high quality, handmade frames. Through the culmination of years of experience combined with true craftsmanship Turner frames are the embodiment of high performance mtb frames and with their recent partnership with suspension guru Dave Weagle they have combined the ultimate suspension platform with their highly sought after hand crafted frames to create what is arguably the finest frames on the market today!

We have extremely limited numbers of these highly sought after frames coming in and we are already being inundated with requests from customers regarding availability. Offers like this do not come along every day and due to the demand for Turner frames most customers have to pre-order and wait for months until their handmade frame has been manufactured and shipped to them, and all at a premium price!

Order yours today and be one of the proud new owners of the highly desirable DW-Link Turner frames, and have a significant amount of cash left to spend on new components too!

Turner bikes is one of the oldest well established bike companies still producing high quality high end bikes, their bikes use proven technology advances in the bike industry such as the Dave Weagle suspension design that offers one of the best pedalling platforms to date.

Turner bikes had many famous riders offering plenty of on the track experience, and input to create the best product for their customers. Such riders as the kiwi Downhill legend John Kirkcaldie (former World Champion), Notorious up and coming rider Sam Blenkinsop (2nd world champs 2006), DHR Pilot Emmeline ragot (2009 Champion).

This is not just another bike. This is about mountain biking and the commitment we’ve made to you and our sport. Turner Bikes is proud to be the bike you grab when you head out for a ride, and this is a commitment we do not take lightly. For us there is no off season as we are dedicated to designing superior mountain bikes year ’round. This year we are bringing a full line of progressive advancements like no other brand has ever offered. If mountain biking is about pushing physical limits, then obsessing with suspension ratios, ergonomic design and FEA modeling are pushing the limits of mountain bike design. This is what we do.

Engineering well beyond the competition.

Everything you need and nothing more. Turner Bike has always been designed with form following function. If your primary concern is buying the best handling longest lasting mountain bike you can buy, than Turner Bikes delivers. We offer a super efficient dw-link suspension system, a finely tuned shock and rocker and rigidity enhancing HexLoc linkage for outstanding line holding precision. This combined with over 15 years of chassis development to produce some of the worlds best handling bikes makes buying a Turner frame a smart choice.

Specifically designed for those bikers looking to set out across the most mountainous of terrain, full suspension mountain bike frames are going to offer you numerous advantages over a hardtail bike when on rigorous trails. These include most notably increased control and less overall strain on the rider from bumps, torques, and other stressors known of trail riding. What this then will mean is that you will be more apt at avoiding falls and will also increase the amount of time you are able to ride without those aches and pains from screaming, sore muscles.

With the addition of rear suspension, these full suspension mountain bike frames will make riding all the more enjoyable and allow you to up those hours of training to improve your own fitness as well. These frames are also going to be able to offer you faster speeds when you are going downhill.
Yet with better control and added comfort, there are a few drawbacks to these designs.
The reason you can go faster downhill is due to the fact that these bikes will weigh a minimum of a few pounds more than a standard hardtail one. Should weight not be an issue that is fine; yet if you are competitively racing this added onus may not seem all too appealing.
However with continued advancements in bike technology, lighter materials such as carbon fibre, titanium, and steel are able to cut back the amount of additional weight load. And while the full suspension mountain bike frames of the past may not have been all that able to adapt to the road very well, some of today’s makes allow the rider to lock out the back suspension and thus have a smoother transition from trail to road.

Should you be an avid mountain biker, it is almost crucial to have a full suspension bike if you plan on spending many hours out riding. While biking, by nature is nearly a non-weight bearing exercise, the bumps and jarring bounces from a particularly rough terrain are much harder on the joints and body than out on the road. Instead of making you take the brunt of the work, why not instead let your bike frame absorb it?

With a focus on aerodynamics and no compromise to performance, handling and weight and fully windtunnel developed using the very latest technologies. The Joule is a beautifully hand laid-up all carbon frameset, made from the finest Torayca T1000G carbon filament.

Isaac Monocoque fork with dual diameter steerer 1.25-inch lower race and a 1.125-inch upper to add rigidity to the steering.

EFBe TP-R (1300N) Certified Headtube stiffness 73.6nm/degree Weight : 1245grams (size Medium)

Fantastic sale price

This is an oportunity to own one of the most sort after framesets at a fantastic price.

This is the 2006 model which we are clearing to make room for new stock, and we just have the medium (56cm) size left in the silk carbon finish as seen in the picture, reduced to a too-good-to-miss clearance price.

You get a wind tunnel tested full carbon frame that is both stiff and light for a TT set up. The stiff Bottom Bracket and head tube that have become synonymous with Isaac are very much present with a short head tube on the medium frame allowing a great aerodynamic position to be achieved.

We love the build quality and the position and two of our riders now use the Joule TT frame for domestic competition as well as the track version (the velocity) and have had some great results.

So for a superb TT frame at a very attractive clearance price look no further than the Isaac Joule.

High seat angled are ensured to make the rider get as low down at the handlebars as possible to have an aerodynamic riding position.

Tube positions are in an aerodynamic position as are the seat post, handlebars and wheels.

Handlebars are normally tri bars (triathlon bars) which give a comfortable position and are also aerodynamic. These are usually made of carbon and were made famous in time trials by Greg Lemond in the 1989 Tour de France, he overcame a 50-second deficit in the final day’s time trial to win the Tour by 8 seconds from Frenchman Laurent Fignon.

Deep rimmed tyres are de facto standard, again for aerodynamic reasons, however it also reduces the number of spokes used due to the vertically rigid rim which creates further aerodynamic gains as well as weight reduction. A disc wheel is also common to create a less turbulent airflow.

The biggest decision to make when picking a new Cross Country (XC) mountain bike frame is that of hard tail or full suspension.

This is a massive decision but really just boils down to the riders’ preference based on the type of terrain they will usually be riding on and their riding style.

Hard tail bikes will normally be quicker up hills and on the flat however full suspension will be faster downhill and on rough terrain. Full suspension bikes also have the added benefit of offering a more comfortable ride however there is of course the financial implication involved.

Hardtail MTB Frames are a tried and tested standard and come on bikes we buy for kids from halfords to cross country (XC) bikes which are probably the best selling types of mountain bikes on the market today.

Hardtail bikes are a tried and tested staple and remain reliable today (where full suspension can be costly and unreliable) which is why they continue to sell well

Cross Country

Although not limited to, Cross Country (XC), is where hardtail mountain bikes remain hugely popular. Reliable, lightweight, and affordable these bikes put the rider in a more upright position than road bikes but not as high as downhill -- the perfect balance between both.

Chances are if you saw someone riding a bike this morning on the way to work it was a hardtail XC style bike.

In mountain bike styles where the bike, and rider is put under extreme stress full suspension bikes have become increasingly popular. The bikes feature a fairly standard frame geometry however include rear suspension and may be further customised by the type of event the rider is interested in such as freeride (FR), Downhill (DH), Mountain cross or “4-cross racing” (4X).

Commonly, inferior mass produced high street bikes will also be full suspension as a marketing ploy and to give an impression of being ‘more expensive’, don’t be fooled!

Downhill

Downhill bikes can often be much heavier than other types of mountain bike due to there being less requirement for riding a heavy bike over great distances or the need for a lightweight bike to perform tricks. Most downhill bikes feature full suspension to help the rider out from the severe constant punishment of hurtling down a trail over bumpy terrain at high speed and with a frame geometry that leans back more than other MTB frames to allow for a more comfortable riding position.

Freeride

Freeride is a relatively new discipline which combines other aspects of mountain biking such as downhill, dirt jump and anything else the rider wishes to throw in.

Freeride frames are typically made of aluminium alloys or steel and are smaller than a standard downhill bike, although of a similar geometry. The bikes often have over sized parts to allow for increased strength and are borrow some setup aspects from dirt jump bikes to allow the rider to perform awe inspiring tricks whilst coming downhill at great speeds.

Jump and Street MTB Frames are vastly different from any other king of MTB Frame. Whilst having to maintain being as lightweight as possible these frames also need to be built to last due to the huge amount of torture they will be put under. Jump and Street frames are also designed with a sloping bar towards the back and short seat in order for this to be out of the when when tricks are performed. Other modifications often include over sized bars, single gears and bash guards.

If you’re pulling some big airs, mad flips or other sick tricks you may want to think about buying from a selection of action cameras to record all the footage to watch back at a later date or maybe include in that home made MTB film?

Road Bikes (or racers as we used to call them back in the day!) are road racing bikes. They are generally made of very lightweight materials, have thinner wheels and drop handle bars. The design, much like that of triathlon bikes is created for maximum aerodynamics both in bike and rider posture.
